Using a J or K crochet hook, and cotton yarn, this soap holder cozy loofa is a quick & easy crochet in-the-round project. Give as a relaxing spa gift, or keep for yourself!

Round 1: ch 11, sc 10, plus another sc in that last ch. Going around the other side of the original ch, sc in each child, plus another sc in last corner ch. Sl st into 1st sc.

Round 2: ch 1, sc into same st, & every st around, ending with sl st into 1st sc. (22 sts)

Round 3: ch 3 (counts as 1 dc + 1 ch). skip next st, * 1 dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st* around, ending round with sl st around initial ch 3.

Rounds 4-10: repeat round 3, dc atop dc of prior row.

Cut yarn & weave in ends.

Make chain of ch 65, & weave in & out of holes of 2nd row down from top of cozy.

Assorted variations... you can do 1, 2, or 3 rounds of sc, followed by 5-10 rounds of dc + ch, or hdc + ch. You can do the final row as scallops or picots or any other creative stitches.  You can also vary the chain size, add beads, or knot to secure, instead of tying ends together.
